Ok, so I turned my phone off last nite like always, then turned it on this morn around 6. About an hour ago (1015) I get 6 emails, one of which I had been waiting for. The timestamps were from 1208 am (after my phone was off) all the way to around 1015. Why didn't the overnight ones come through when I turned my phone on? I know my signal was ok cause I did my normal commute and both texted, and spoke with my wife.

Go to the e-mail settings icon, click it and select service books, resend them and see if that helps...

I have a similar problem, but it only seems to occur with Gmail. My 8120 (OS 4.5) turns itself on in the morning at 6:10. I can almost use it as an alarm clock, because my Yahoo mail usually comes in immediately. My Gmail usually waits about 20 to 30 minutes, sometimes longer. I use IMAP on Gmail, which may be part of the problem, but normally (not after morning power up), even with IMAP I get my Gmail within 2 to 4 minutes, often instantly.
