So when I upgraded to the tour, the dealer copied my old contacts to the new phone.
But after talking to some people, if I were to sync it now with Outlook, I probably will get duplicates.
The other option is to wipe the handheld clean and re-sync. The problem is that i've already downloaded stuff and customized the phone.... Would be a b**** to redo everything.
Any advice?
When you sync with outlook there is an option to delete everything in the destination location: meaning if you are doing a sync from your phone's phone book to outlook's address book and select that option, it will delete all the contacts in the outlook's address book and replace them with the contacts from your phone's address book. The same goes for calendar, tasks, and memos.
