I have an 8310 and after doing all the steps found here to remove IT policy, my blackberry had an error message with 507 on it. I can't do anything with the blackberry, this is the only thing on the screen.

What is my next step? I have tried doing recovery with the Desktop Manager but it won't give me the option to recover.

Please help, I am new at this and should not have taken on such a task with my little knowledge.

I do not have discs to go with my blackberry.

A 507 error doesn't mean your BB is dead. Error 507 simply means there is no OS installed on the device.
