BB gets the time off the RIM server. Network gets the time from ur carrier.
I've noticed BB's time is ahead like 3-4 mins.
I run it on network and seems to be more accurate (verizon for me)

Why does my clock on my blackberry 3810 change to a differnt time sometime and how can i stop this from happoning.
If you have either your BlackBerry or your PC set to the wrong time zone, AND you have the Desktop Manager option to sync device time to PC time enabled, then whenever you sync your BlackBerry to your PC, the BlackBerry time zone will change to match the PC time zone. A common mistake is to choose Central America Time instead of Central Time (US&Canada). Both are GMT-6, but Central America does not observe DST.
If you set your time source to either Network Time or BlackBerry time, there is no need to sync to PC time.

Thanks.
I did have mine set the BlackBerry, but it was showing same time as network.
I never sync time on BB with PC. I have my PC time set to time.nist.gov, not time.windows.com.
