    I am with orange in the UK. If i use the free webmessenger and connect via wifi is this service then free of charge. I am not sure how it works because if I am connected via wifi that is using my home network I take it that is free?

    As far as I know, the only app with true wifi support is JiveTalk.

    I don't know of any other program that does instant messaging over wifi.

    I agree with sunkast. Jivetalk is the only one out there that will work with just wifi. Buy it. Its worth its price tag.
