So I just got a data plan on my account which is $50/month for unlimited text messaging and data thru AT&T. My friend who also has AT&T is paying $30/month. I feel like I'm overpaying!

For BIS it's usually $30 and for BES it's usually $50.

The $50/month plan you have is the $30 for data and $20 for unlimited texting. I'm on the same setup. You're not being overcharged. Maybe your friend only told you how much their data plan only costs..

I should have BIS on my BB. I'm thinking about switching to Sprint or Verizon, it seems more reasonable.
