Ah don't feel bad bro. I'm lucky a family member owns an iphone (1) and the new iphone 3G. My Verizon 8330 whoops him online every time (unless he's WiFi'd up).

Sorry for your loss. The iPhone 3G has treated me well ever since I bought it.

If I hadn't been a Blackberry user for so long before I got the iPhone I probably would have thought it was a great smartphone.
However I tried it for over a week as my only phone but I missed the ease of use and speed of my Blackberry.
I'l be upgrading to a Bold if all goes to plan.

Same here, i got one in August on O2 here in the UK...but i just couldnt stand it...its a nice device but the 3G speeds were quite simply dire....battery life was rubbish as well so i returned mine after a week of having it. Even my ex gf got one, she got the 16gb one but sold it on ebay for �400 a week later lol. She herself couldnt stand it herself.

Glad to see I am not alone then.

I took it back to the O2 shop today, the guy was a bit puzzled why I was returning it, I explained just a couple of reasons and he was fine about it.

Are you with Vodafone on the Bold then? I'm considering that next.

Ha...sounds like it's pretty widespread here then! I too had the 3G on O2...a couple of them in fact! Both went back after dropping wayyyy too many calls,appalling voicemail experiences,poor network coverage etc etc! I'm not hating Apple though...bought my brother a Touch for xmas and it's amazing,there's just no competition for a Berry when it comes to an all-in-one device!
