So anyone know what the logic/rules are if both are set to different ringtone? Does it cause problems? I can't seem to get predictable results with a quick experiment!?

My question along these lines is this

If I apply a custom ringtone to a contact while I'm on the normal profile is there a way to change profiles and leave the custom ringtone behind?

For ex: I set a custom ringtone for my gf under the normal profile, I also created a work profile that was similar to the normal profile just quieter what I don't want to happen is for me to change my profile to work then go to work and be in a meeting when she calls and tom petty starts playing if she calls I would just like it to play the normal bb ringtone so that I'm more professional. Sorry for over shadowing your post wibblyw any help would be greatly appreciated

I want to say that the custom tone over rules the exception, but I'm not 100% on that ...

If you have service with T-Mobile and you have the fave 5, you will have to delete the fave 5's from your phone book for the ringer to work properly. Once you have deleted them from the phone book, they will remain on the fave 5.
