Well I had a tour and sent it back because of too many problems....... And good thing I did because my curve which is running 5.0 runs so much better than my tour did!!!!!!!! It looks and operates like the tour did only faster as far as the browser is concerned....... Sorry to inform you but your tour is no longer the TOP DOG!!!!!! and check your os version we're running 5.0.0.323,........... the tour,........... Gotta love the curve 8330!!!!!

Well good for you!! You're obviously the exception to the rule all things considered...

The problem though is the actual science behind the technology. The Curve processor and memory are smaller in comparison to the Tour period. Your new OS cannot over compensate for the smaller processor or size limitations with regard to storage. I'm not going to go into a debate here when the proof is in the specs.

MY First post was to simply ask for proof, because the science behind the two phones has already supported my case. You and the OP's cousin have offered no proof other than your claim other than word of mouth.

Understand though, I still loved my Curve and didn't want to give it up either, but work forced me to. I am very satisfied with the Tour and have seen a remarkable difference contradictory to what you have said. The difference in opinion though is supported more by published facts by the maker of the products in my favor.

You can also get a theme that will resemble to the 9630 screen and icons for the 8300 series but is will never be the same, they have different resolutions.

Maybe she installed a 5.0 leak and or changed the theme. Many people will compare to another device, but dont fully understand the lack of comparison until you have owned or used both long enough to formulate an accurate opinion.

fact is I owned the tour and its overrated!!!! Maybe they'll get it right the next go around but until then my curve running 5.0.0.323 is Running faster than my tour was....... Sorry your so misinformed when it comes to os versions but I'm pretty sure your tour came with 4.7!!!!! And you not being abreast of what happens outside your small circle are still more than likely still running that...... and as far as proof goes you'll eventually catch up,..........mr. Look at my tour its so hot with a 4.7 os!!!! Lame.......

I make themes that make the 8330 look like a curve. I have a tour and the 9630 only way she would have the same format as the tour is the 5.0 OS and it was buggy as all **** when I tried it about a month ago.

That is 5.0.0.230 not 5.0.0.323

and check your os version we're running 5.0.0.323,........... the tour,........... Gotta love the curve 8330!!!!!
