Hey, ok so my first BB was a Curve 8320 and then I upgraded to an 8900. Now since I've only been a curve owner and on Tmobile, I wanna try out the Bold, especially with the 9780 coming out and bc I want OS 6 and the 8900 probably isn't gonna get it sadly. So my question is, are there any major differences between the two and which do you prefer?

Switched from 8520 to 9700. There is no question really. Do it.

Unless you prefer the size and weight of the curves, if not go bold. They are faultless. Also, look out for the 9700's prices going down as soon as the 9780 hits the stores. It'll get OS6 as well.

I remember I wanted the 8320 (Gold) so bad, had the curve it was okay but a little too small for me, then I recently got the Bold 9650. Its pretty cool & the trackpad is dope also! But I would try a demo unit out at one of the T-Mobile stores first just to make sure its what u want . Hope this helps!

The bold series will be an upgrade with a better camera, innards, etc. The one thing to keep in mind is the keyboard is significantly smaller. I loved my bold but I wish it had the curve style keyboard. Best keyboard hands down IMO
