    I was given an At&t Curve 8900 and it is not activated and I have poor credit, What is the easiest way to get this phone activated?

    I dont know how it is in the US, but in Canada if you have poor credit they will charge you a deposit depending on how bad your credit is and you get the deposit back after a year, i think its a year, of on time payments.

    Another option they have in Canada is pay as you go. You have to buy minutes to use on your phone by getting airtime cards.

    I know your not in Canada but these options might be worth seeing if your carrier of choice will provide.

    Like DannyJK posted, you can use it prepaid.... that's how you can control what you pay for your phone and pay nothing if you got none at the moment.

    Tmobile used to have a prepaid data plan for blackberry but not sure if they still continue it.
