Any information regarding this process would be greatly appreciated, as to where I need to get modem scripts and possible directions. How fast would this be running anyhow?

I am a little surprised no one has actually done this, seems like it could be a way to save some money, instead of having internet at home, just use tethering with your blackberry?

Tethering is a lot slower than a home wireless network. It is really only practical if you need internet access on your computer when traveling.

I have an 8320 from t-mobile and got it to work. T-mobile doesn't charge extra for it.
