I still see a ton of company issued BBOS devices in the wild. It is going to take a while before companies reinvest. Just the way the corporate world works. Besides the units totally suck at games so some CEO's like that.

    I switched from a Curve 9320 to a Z10.

The Curve would do things in places that the Z10 wont...it would run on 2g and got a better signal here. BBM, radio, emails, FB and Twitter. Suited what I need.

The Z10 is a fabulous phone, with fabulous features, most of which I don't need or use. Twitter and BBM are good on it. Keeping email accounts on it is a work of art.

But now I have had a year with the Z10, I yearn for my simple pleasures again.....a simple phone that suits my needs as a communication device, and using the Z10 on wifi..

At this moment in time I am torn between my old Samsung U800, and getting a Nokia 301. If I didn't need to start BIS and mess my data plan up again I would go back to the 9320.

    -Why?
    -To which phone?
-Do you prefer it over your Legacy device?
    ..just curious.
As majority of people inhere are on BB10, and bash Legacy devices all the time.

If you are still on a legacy device, you are most welcome to join in.
8320 to 9780 to 9900 and now Z10. Did try the Q10 twice but felt that it did not compare to the feel of the 9900, which I loved. Waiting for the Q20. I do prefer OS10 for the speed, better browser, HDMI, NFC etc. I prefer the LCD vs the Amoled screen too.

    Loving my Zed 10!!

Had many legacy devices my last one was a torch 9850 and I waited and waited for BB10 to arrive( I am on Sprint!!) and it finally arrived via Keys to the City promotion , a Q10 baby and I have been rocking that baby ever since now I am longing for the Z10 but Sprint again, so yes I loved the legacy devices but the lags and slow going sometimes with the browser and social media made me long for BB10 and its night and day!

I forgot the model but that was a Curve with OS version 4.5xx. Yes it was still with the humble track ball, where you can hear both x and y rollers with every move, and its mechanical click every enter pressed. I'm one of those that say that blackberry will not last so there is no sense to upgrade to the latest model. But Bb10 luckily is not an upgrade but a replacement and a good one at that. Replace the BlackBerry brand with say, QTouch and no one could tell that it's a BlackBerry.

Blackberry stopped at OS7 imo that is why people did not easily grabbed the Bb10 idea. Bringing back the belt would bridge the 7 to 10 which I think Sensei Chen is trying to do. Ooops wrong post..

Switched from the good old Curve 3G to Z10 and 3 months later Q10. I love the Q10 over everything. It changed exactly the things I disliked on the Curve 3G.

From 9810 to Z10 (may-2013) to Z30 (december-2013), miss little things from the legacy but the whole BB10 experience is far better.

I have switched from a 9790 to a Galaxy S3. I like android (had several devices) but the S3 was very fragile and somehow I missed the keyboard and productivity of the BlackBerry. Oh and also the battery life.
I just didn't like the old software because it felt extremely outdated in terms of design and performance.

So when I heard BB10 was coming out I thought I could give it a try and I was very happy with my Q10 which I'm still carrying.

Now as the 2k displays will be hitting the markets soon, I'm not sure what I will buy next. But in the end, if the Q20 is a decent product I guess I'll try it. The keyboard is still a very important factor to me.

I used to use a Curve 9360 for two years: I liked OS 7 for messagging, phoning and its UI, but it was terrible for web browsing, viewing documents and for the lack of certain useful apps. Also, it had lot of problems (battery drain, dust under screen etc...). So I switched to a Z10 a few months ago: I love it, it's a great OS on a great phone; however I think the next time I'll buy a qwerty OS 10 smartphone, especially if a new PlayBook will be released. OS 7 is too old (we're in 2014, you cannot propose an OS that is only an improvement of the ancient OS 5), it sells only because OS 7 smartphones are now cheap.
    P.S. I also got a PlayBook.

I had a 9800, then the 9810. I was excited about switching to BB10 and did so back in June of 2013 when my contract came up for renewal. There was a little adjustment period, mainly because I was coming from the much heavier 9810. I had to get comfortable holding the Z10 so I could type on it. It didn't take long, and now I feel I am faster and more accurate than I have ever been. Learning the gestures was very easy since I also have a PlayBook (but I hardly use it now that I have the Z10).

The Z10 is so much more as a phone than the 9810 ever was. The Z10 screen size, the keyboard, software and hardware really trumps the legacy devices. Long live BlackBerry!!

I'd been using a 9900 and 9810 and then I got the Z10 to use before the Q10 launched.

I think having the Z10 really helped me learn BlackBerry 10, so jumping to a Q10 after using it was easier than it would have been to go from a 9900 to a Q10

Nope and after my Playbook promise and diabolical customer care in the last 3 tears like many BB customers I'm done..

However....putting OS7 on Z10 with BIS, id buy it....

Could have done a dual boot on BB10 devices and slow move peeps across over five year to QNX, whilst improving BB10 instead of the launch that happened.

I went from the 9930 to the Q10, since the 9930 was getting very tired. Love the Q10, but I have no doubt that it will get swapped out when the new top of the range keyboard device shows up.....

I also went from a 9930 to a Q10 just over 3 weeks ago. Only use the 9930 for a few months but it was a great device. Sucked on battery life thought. Transitioning to a Q10 from a 9930 was kinda easy for me UI-wise (probably have to thank my PlayBook for that!). I've use every OS from 4.5 on my Pearl to now (Pearl 8100, Pearl Flip, Bold 9700, PlayBook, Style 9670, Bold 9930 and now the Q10) and seeing the evolution has been fun. I wanted to see the future of BlackBerry. I like what I see! I'm still learning everything and now even more since 10.2.1 dropped the other night!!
