I have found that the people who constantly complain about what they consider to be overly-complex stances tend to hold simplistic stances.

Simplistic stances on anything tend to be wrong.

Or they don't care enough about a thread on the internet to write some long justification for why they think they are right. But you can think whatever you want.

If you go into BBM, is there a "shop" tab visible?

If not, you may not have a recent sticker-compatible version of BBM installed.

No I can see the stickers, even bought a couple packs. I just can't see the new bbm ones. I do see the toy story pack.

I would have thought possibly there were regional licensing issues, but not for those...

By the way anyone who has a big problem with this idea, it's no different than giving to any kick-start campaign (think Pebble for example). You are giving money in exchange for the hope that the company thrives and that they'll produce an awesome product that you want. It's the exact same thing. I neither fully support nor condone this idea but I think a lot of the criticism has been unfair.

Fair enough however the difference between Kickstart and this, is that those companies are very small compared to BBRY which is a multi billion company.
Many times if one of those companies don't receive the target crowd funded amount they fold up, unlike BBRY which would not fold should the suggested 1 million not be reached.

Just saying.

Actually this isn't the worse thread I've seen. The idea was a bit far fetched seeing as BlackBerry don't get all the money or then most of the money but th fact that it's something people want and can use anyways nullify any negativity people can launch at it.

Not really but I'm about to go splashing some cash on them. Been abusing the free wwe sets I got on BBM and people love it. Even I do and somehow there's always an appropriate figure for every moment. Stickers are more awesome than I initially thought... makes emojis look stupid now.

This was a grass roots movement that some liked and some didn't. There was an issue that the $0.99 BBM Character sticker pack (all proceeds to BlackBerry) was removed from some regions but looks to be back in the BBM Shop so show your support and appreciation to BlackBerry and bring a smile to a BBM contact with this sticker pack (or other ones you may like!).

The only fault was to use the word "donate", the motion to promote company stickers is ok.

Just don't make blackberry or Chen to look like a homeless child because isn't the case.
