Hi, idk if this has been discussed before.. but I have a storm 9530 on Cricket, and its fine for just around town, but I don't have a GPS, google maps or BBmaps don't work, neither do gpsed or other apps.
do i even have GPS, is there a way to unlock it or something?
well yeah its turned on. i just don't ever get a signal, ive walked down the street for 10 mins, and ive used smaps, gpsed, and a bunch of free GPS apps
my gps has never worked on my bb 9530 on cricket network. is there something i need to dnld to get it working?
The GPS function should work out of the box with google maps or blackberry maps. But if its not getting a signal in those programs, its possible cricket is blocking the GPS and forcing you to use their GPS software for monthly charges
