    Hi,
I use google reader to read my rss feeds from blackberry browser. I saved the url as a bookmark on browser. Is there any way to create a shortcut of this url to my blackberry screen, that would automatically direct me to the reader by clicking on it?

    Thanks

I think this will work. Before closing the feed press the p key. This should give you the option of copying the address. Press copy. Then open your Memo pad. Create a new memo title like Feeds. Scroll below the header and press Menu/Paste. When you want to return, scroll to the link and press Menu/Open Link. Hope that works for you, let me know how it goes.

Or you can use QuickLaunch which is a paid app for the shortcuts

Don't know what kind of phone you are using, but on my torch I can go to any site, hit the BB button, and "Add To HomeScreen" so the link for any site is on the homescreen. But as someone stated before, QuickLaunch does just what you need but it is a paid app. (Quite worth it IMO)
