hey, i just got my first blackberry, its a bold 9700. its an amazing phone but i've only had it for 3 days now and my track pad is creaking a little. even with just a little pressure, the down scroll will creak, the pad also has a little bit of play? is this normal?

look in the 9700 subforum. This is quite common.

this is common in the 9700 but it doesn't affect the proper functioning of the device in any way.

Have had mine for 2 weeks now and my track pad is still perfectly stable, no sway to it, and it's flush and makes no noise. From reading other posts though it does seem to be fairly common but if that happened with mine it would drive me insane.

Mine does this too. A little weird but basically a normal issue.
