So my work gave me a Curve this week on a line that they're paying for.

I have a Tour I'd like to have on the line instead. I managed to register the line online, so I have access to doing the ESN swap online. Will I have any issues doing switching phones without screwing up my company's plan?!?!

    Thanks!

You should definitely talk about this with a person in your company (NO, don't tell them you want to switch ESN, just ask your administrator whether you can use your personal phone instead, but I'm pretty sure the answer is no). I would not be afraid whether your company's plan gets screwed, I would be more afraid of whether your company screws you.

Don't play with company stuff, you'll get in trouble that's for sure.

The issue doesn't involve the carrier, it involves the company. The company would have to decide if it'll fire you for using a personal device to access corporate files, perhaps trying to bypass IT policies, etc.
