Who knew how awesome the BlackBerry could be?!?!

Decided to bake some chicken tonite and wanted something different. Just as I was reaching for our rarely used cookbooks, a call came in on my BlackBerry. The sound of that ringtone was like a lightbulb exploding in my head...reminding me...HELLO!, I've got a freakin' BlackBerry. There's gotta be recipes online.

While talking via bluetooth I cracked open the BlackBerry browser and discovered a mobile friendly site called www.cooks.com which has a ton of recipes. So, while I proceeded to finish the call while making an awesome Chicken Breasts Supreme (www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1725,154182-229198,00.html)

And this was all made possible because of a BlackBerry! Wild!

I've always used my laptop as a sort of cookbook compendium at home. I even have a safe place set up for it in my kitchen, but I use my Berry for all of that stuff when I'm away from home, definitely. I love having the whole of the internet in my pocket!

I highly recommend emerils.com/mobile. It is a mobile version of Emerils.com, and makes looking up recipes while at the grocery store fast and easy.

If you like cooking type Appetite for BlackBerry in to your browser it will take you to a OTA download link for a great cooking app.

It is not a free app but you can have a free trial.
I've downloaded it and would recommend it.

    Regards

    Chris
