My old curve 8320 very rarely dropped it's wifi connection. My Torch drops it's connection every few minutes. It constantly says "searching for network". Has anyone else had this problem?

Not here. I usually had problems with my 9000 with the WiFi connection but the 9800 has been rock solid. Connects MUCH quicker and stays connected.

Same thing here, just unlocked my 9800 torch and replaced the service books with the method for the storm to work on T-mobile, now the browser works in EDGE but as a bonus now my WIFI keeps droping every few minutes/seconds. Does anyone have a sugestion on how to fix this?? I know its probably because of the generic service books. HELP !

So what you're saying is that you have a STOCK, unmodified or unloked torch and the same wifi porblem happens to you???
