When I read your post the first time I thought, "USB connector", and then I thought about it and it finally dawned upon me that we are talking about a software connector. So I went and looked on the BakcBerry site and this is what they say about 'connector specific error' BlackBerry Search Results

The salient point in RIM's article is that 'The organizer data may be corrupt.'

Please read the article and come back here if you need more help.

I read it and went through all the steps with the caller to setup the log and find out what was wrong- we traced it to a recurring reminder she has in her outlook. she already deleted it, but it keeps popping up and it won't let her delete it?
Seems like more of a windows issue than a bb issue at this point.

USe the PST repair tool ScanPSt.exe. This is a Microsoft utility and is safe to use.

Try also draging the offending item to Deleted Items. Also try the same in Windows Safe Mode.

Last ditch attempt. Rename the users outlook.pst file thus forcing Outlook to create a new empty one. Now import the data from the orginal file to the new one.

I have tried all these tricks and I always win in the end.
