So I bought a used unlocked blackberry curve [either 8310 or 8320]. The actual phone is in perfect condition and it looks brand new.

So I try and connect it to my computer and it asks me if I wanna have mass storage on the phone and I say yes. Then usually two seconds later it says your blackberry has disconnected.

I tried to use the desktop manager and the same thing happened. It also says that it cannot connect to the desktop manager so I need to try again.

Does anyone know what I can do?

I spent 30 minutes last night putting music on my phone. I had to keep putting the plug in and pulling it out ect. because when I would go to my itunes to add music it would disconnect. Finally it stayed connected long enough.

In your PC open up Device Manager, go to Universal Serial Bus controllers, double click USB root hub, click Power Management and make sure that Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power is not checked.
