A killer phone with killer specs and an awesome differentiator - camera. Even with all this, it will have a very hard time fighting against the established market leaders (e.g. the Note 3).

Also note the launch price. Same as the Q10 and probably the Z30 as well (if it ever comes to AT&T).

Looking at all these phones (the Nexus 5, the truly budget Lumia 1320, this Lumia 1520), I am just not sure why anyone would pay the outrageously premium price for BB10 phones (and no, I am not talking about BB fans or physical keyboard diehards, who are a minority).

The BB10 phones are nice, but the price is not commensurate to the worst app selection out of the four platforms, the middle-of-the-road old-gen specs, and most importantly the lack of a valuable differentiator for the phones.

I am hoping the "new" management will put the money into its best use and will start favoring long-term goals over short-term margins.

Oh boy, I know it's the contract price.

Now, see the contract price for the Q10 after almost a half a year after launch (does not include all the goodies you get with the Lumia 1520):

Also note that the $200 (not including app store credits) for the Lumia 1520 is the launch price. Contract prices for Lumias tend to drop within just a couple of months.

Anyway, the off-contract price is $584.99. That's not including the "$70 worth of app store credit, free flip cover and a free copy of Halo: Spartan Assault"

How much is the off-contract price for the Z30? How much was it for the Z10, Q10, Q5 at launch?
