    hey guys.
been using the Iphone for quite some time but i just miss blackberry.
something about it i don't know I'm risking all the apps and bs with the iphone
to come back to an actual keyboard.

feel like the iphone is too much like a computer and i get carried away at work with it.
with the blackberry i will be more into buisness mode.
i have just bought a bold 9650 for $140. brand new, think refurbished.
    is it worth it??
and what do u guys think?
    thank you

Yes I'd say a good condition 9650 is worth 140.

9650 is a great device but if you find a 9900/9930 for a decent price it is a very hefty upgrade from the 9650.

My 9650 lasted me 2 years before I switched carriers so I got the 9900.

    It is a solid phone!

As a phone (and not an app toy) I find the 9790 works great. Very responsive touch screen and good keyboard. Seems like a pointless statement as you've already bought another model, but welcome back anyway.

    how about the 9780??
i found some around $140 also used, but i already bought the 9650 for $140.
    is it a huge upgrade??

i would go for the 9790 i personally would opt for the beefier proccessor and the sleek sexyness of it, the touch screen is usefull to when navigating the UI and interweb

You can find this all over www.google.com, people switching every three months from bb to iphone to galaxy 3 back to bb.

There are no pro's/con's it appears to be personal preference.

my budget is somewhat limited, i don't wanna shell out more then $200 for a phone.
i didn't like the size and chrome design of the 9930 that was my only complaint about it.
I'm thinking 9780 or 9790 but theres a big price gap there, what to do???
and btw will BB10 phones have a keyboard or will it only be touchscreen like the iPhone is now?

The first BB10 will be all touch, then the keyboard will follow shortly there after.

so i might as well probably just stick with the 9650 till the keyboard BB10 phone comes out then shell out the money to upgrade.
doubt it's worth it getting the 9790 or 9780 models just for a few months i could survive lol
    love BB! <3
never again will I follow the iPhone Sheep!

I just went from an 8530 Curve to Bold 9650 and i'm happy - for now. I find the same you mentioned for the people with iphones where I work. Main thing they are used for is facebook and playing music. The music is really annoying, as they really don't have any consideration for others.

I am trying my best to hold out for bb10 N series! I don't mind the iphone I just really want the keyboard back! If tomorrow I couldn't handle it anymore I would pick up a used 9930. I have found them as cheap as 225! Sure hope bb10 is all it's getting talked up to be

Since you already bought the 9650, sticking with it and saving for a new BB10 is probably best. if you hadn't bought the 9650 then I'd say, of your other 2 choices the 9790 would be the best with more memory, better processor and touchscreen than the 9780. The 9780 was essentially a 9700 with more memory and a better camera.

The 9900 is not a chrome design, it's stainless steel and yes, BB10 will have a physical keyboard, it's been confirmed long time ago.

The 9650 is a fine phone. It will last you well into the new year, until BB10 launches in Feb/Mar 2013.

I bought the cheapest Curve there is, with the same thoughts in mind - a transition phone until bb 10. I just couldn't take it anymore with iPhone.

    Welcome back to bb!

Yes, I do admit ios can make you feel very immersed into it. Distractions distractions distractons.
