I just spent the last four days with 125,000 of my best friends (ha!). While there, I casually observed what smartphones people were using. Keep in mind, this is unscientific and informal. I was simply noticing whaty people were texting/browsing/photohgraphing/gaming with while they stood in endless lines.
The most popular smartphone brand appeared to be Blackberry. The most common Blackberry appeared to be the Curve followed by the Pearl. I did see Flips, Storms, Bolds, and Tours, but not in as high numbers.
The most popular single model of smartphone was the iPhone. Duh. They were everywhere and almost as numerous as the Blackberrys.
Just a little observation.
By the way, my Tour took a few very good photos, although most of the time I was using a camera.

Interesting that with all the models RIM has, they still add up to less than Apple's single device--according to your observations. But also, you have to factor in demographics. If you were at a business meeting, it'd be a little different I guess.
You take any pics of the Suicide Girls that were there?? Post em!
