Ya, I was pumped...they should get this kind of stuff out - anywhere they can. They may not sell 10,000,000 in a week but for sure there's a demand. Being here in Waterloo I should chat with BlackBerry about an exclusive distribution deal...that would be fun!!
Because the amount of people that would actually buy and use these items are minuscule and wouldn't be worth Blackberry's time.
Yeah. EBay had a store early on that sold ebay coffee mugs, t shirts. Etc. They closed it down. I am sure it sold a lot of stuff nominally speaking, but it was likely a distraction from their core business. And it would never be able to help "move the needle" on the financials of a multi billion dollar company such as ebay.

Funny, thats what BB thought about the Passport and why it took 7 years for it to be released.
Boy were they ever wrong about that one too!
I go to my local Honda dealership, and I am greeted with hats, shirts, pens. Heck, go to any auto dealership, and you will see the same thing. Obviously it worth doing it or no dealership would dedicate the space for this.
BlackBerry, Chen, whomever!?!? Listen to the damn fans who support your products.......... sell merchandise on your ShopBB site please.
It almost appears to be items that BlackBerry would give away at an event. I'd buy some BlackBerry stuff if I knew where to get it. Looks like I have to travel to a rogers in Waterloo. Ugh!
I'd love a BlackBerry 10 baseball hat ( live on east coast- -eh). Even if they sold logo stuff at cost, it would be free advertising. Seeing cool guys like us, wearing insignia, would make BlackBerry smartphones hip again.
