You are supposed to email the support team [email protected] for any name change requests. That's how I got my name changed, it took less then a full 24 hours and it was changed. Just going to confirm that is the right email to send to.
Update: Was wrong about the email, but I wasn't far off. Changed it to the right one.
Subject should be 'Name Change Request' mention what you're current username is and politely ask them if they could change it to your desired username.
