changing the size once the pic is taken, or even changing it automatically whenever sending it.

(my old Sony phone would have an option to automatically alter the size a bit smaller when sending it as an MMS message.)

Can my CURVE do this????? I have pics i wanna send, but they take soooooooo long to send. Due to the fact they are 2 MegaPixels!!!

I don't think its a issue!

Im pretty sure that the mms server for you "at&t" automatically resizes images send away it should work fine! (at least I have never had a problem)
