SO within all of the themes that I look at, I can not find one that has all of and only the programs that I want to be displayed, Messages, call log, opera mini and calander. Is there a way to edit these within a theme or should I look at creating one on my own?

As long as the theme is customizable.... On your icon screen, highlight the icon you want moved, hit the menu key, selet move the move the icon and press the tb to confirm

The first row of ions are your home screen icons... If the hs is not changing then it is not a customizable theme. Try a different theme.

if you pm me your email address I can forward you a theme that I made in plazmic. It looks like the Today theme (new message list and upcoming calendar events), but I hid the missed call list and made room for 7 icons of your choice at the bottom of the screen.
