Hello, I have a bold 9900 (hopefully to become a Q10 next week) with OS 7.1 and bbm 7.0.1

The bbm invitation text reads

"[My current bbm name] would like to add you to his or her BlackBerry Messenger Contact List."

I realise I can edit/overtype this message each time, but is there a way that I can permanently update this default message?

Hmmm. Its rare to pose a question here that noone seems to be able to answer.

Invites from French or German berries have the text in their language, so possibly it is set at carrier level?

It is indeed rare to be unable to find answers here in CrackBerry nation. If it helps at all, I have been unable for find a solution for this issue as of this posting. Furthermore I feel confident in saying that the only work around at the moment is to manually change the the text before each invitation is sent. No OS is perfect. Keep the faith. Go BlackBerry!
