i am new to this stuff, but i have an 8330 and my friend just got a 8350i. looking at how his apps look is totally different from mine. is there a way to switch the 8330 into that view?

There are themes for the 8330 that make it look much like the one on the 8350i, you should be able to find the OTA link for them in the themes forum.

This is the one that I use on my 8330. The creator made it to look like the standard theme on the 8350i, so it should provide exactly what you want!

I don't think there is an OTA file yet, but he has a bunch of different kinds setup as .zip files. The good thing about this theme is the developer is always updating it and asking for imput from the people who use it. If you scan thru the comment thread, you will find people who wanted a specific thing, and he created a version of the existing theme to do what they wanted, so there are a bunch of different variations for you to choose from.

Also, don't be thrown off by the name... this theme is for the 8330 running OS 4.5, not the 8350i.
