I was wondering if the radio chip can be changed in a z10. I have an STL100-2 and have moved to America so I can't use 4G. If this is possible help please. I don't want to buy a whole new phone each time I change continents.

No you can't. But there are more HSPA+ coverage in US than LTE, and HSPA+ is just as much 4G as LTE, and average speeds are similar. STL100-1 supports HSPA on bands 5/6 - so any carrier supporting that should be OK to use for you.

Or - sell it and get a new Z30
