Their review of the Z30 is so poorly done. We haven't really used it, looked at it, or much of anything, but it doesn't stack up at all.

Plenty of people have had problems with all phones from the iPhone, to Samsung Galaxys, to HTC Ones, to Nokia 92xs, to Blackberry Z10s, etc. Just because your girlfriend had a problem with the phone doesn't make it a horrible phone. What problems has your girlfriend had with the phone?

For example - I had a Storm 2 and had so many problems with the phone that it was unreal (triple clicking screen/freezes/memory leaking/etc.) - however 2 of best friends both had Storms 2s from 2009-2012 and neither ever had a major problem with the phone. It wasn't until I came here a few years ago that I realized that I wasn't alone with my Storm 2 problems.

I have a Moto X - it is a great phone. The only thing that isn't great is the camera.
I have a cousin that has a Z30 and Moto X and he loves both phones.

I honest feel like both phones are really dead even - I would give the Z30 the edge on camera and screen size but give the Moto X the edge on form factor and touchless control. Of course BB10 is very smooth on the Z30 but the Moto X is one of the smoothest running Android devices.

I am actually pretty excited for both BlackBerry's next high end phone and Motorola/Lenovo's next high end phone. I will probably get both.

Big deal, he said he owned the Z10 and it died, fine, and he said he loves the Moto X. Why should he blindly vote for the z30? He loves his Moto X, not a big deal really. Not like winning this poll does anything for either company.

It's a pretty tough choice, for me at least. I don't have a Z30 but have Z10 and Moto X. They're both good devices but overall, I like the Moto X more, because of features like Active Display and Touchless Control. I don't know about the Z30, but it seems like BlackBerry fixed mostly every problems that the Z10 had, which was already a fine device.
