- I keep seeing all these posts about how at&t isn't updating the OS and that has me worried. I just got my first Blackberry with at&t (a curve 8310) a few weeks ago and I've been trolling this site since then. Is the new OS all its cracked up to be? Is it worth perhaps switching carriers in order to get for my curve, which I love so dearly? I have the 30 day trial thing, so I don't think it would be that big of a hassle, but I just want to be sure I know what I'm doing.

It isn't critical for you to upgrade your OS. If you decide you want to, like berry said, there are upgrades for your device. These OS upgrades are device dependent, provider doesn't matter.
Follow the instructions for upgrading your device when you feel comfortable with it. You find the links to OS's and the up to date desktop manager you'll need at the top of the 83xx forum for a curve. There's no rush. FYI, I have upgraded my 0S probably 8 or 9 times without any problems. PM me if you decide to do it and need a hand.
