I have a 3GS that I love having as my personal device but looking to get a BB again for a business line (also looking to have BBM again too).

Looking for the lowest amount of minutes and BB personal.

I think my options will be the 9700 Bold once available on AT&T, the Storm2 once available on Verizon, or a Curve Gemini on T-Mobile.

As you can see, I'm not discounting any carrier. Well except Sprint, but are they really still a company?

Again just looking for a BB for the email and BBM.

Thanks in advance for any input given in this thread

    Sprint is the cheapest.

Since you are not interested in Sprint, your next cheapest would be T-Mobile.

    T-Mobile is ALWAYS the cheapest.

Aside from the non existent, Sprint. :P

Its not 40. Its 34.99 for data and text. Its 40 when you just get data on a blackberry. T-Mo is the cheapest though

Get the 9700 on Tmo this November 11th or so. You get a good BB, and a cheap rate, plus 3G. Its only 19.99 for BIS.

This is exactly what I'm thinking of doing. The 9700 is night and day compared to the 8520.

I can get the 8520 for a penny through Amazon right now though

They have there own band for 3G coverage (1700). Very new and have no experience with it.

Just wanted to update for anyone else who was maybe thinking along the same lines as my question....

I went to Walmart and picked up the 8520 Curve for $30

I got the $29.99 Voice (300 min) and $24.99 BIS (used to be $19.99)

With my AAA discount of 15%, my bill should run $50

Got the activation for free due to my credit history

Basically this device rocks for people like me who were looking for a strictly business device. Perfect for me who just needed it for BBM and push email for my business.

Nice compliment to my 3GS, which has all the bells and whistles
