In the UK market something weird seems to be happening vis a vis BlackBerry 10.

The Carphone Warehouse was one of the first to delist the Z10 in the UK way back. But now they are advertising it as being available for as little as �20 per month and that you can pre-order for Monday 28th October.

They also have no Z30's available until mid November!

Why is this of any interest? Because EE, for example, my carrier, has no mention of the Z10 or Z30 at all, at this moment in time. They seem to be following the previous pattern of CW in that they believe that if someone wants a BlackBerry they want a keyboard so they are only offering the Q10 and Q5.

A quick check of Vodafone shows them offering the Z30 only whilst O2 IS offering the Z10 but only 'whilst stocks last' and no mention of the Z30 at all!

Bit confusing but could it be that the carriers are following CW on this? I really find it maddening that the carriers have lazily decided that anyone who wants a BlackBerry wants a keyboard, and they seem to be willing to take top dollar for that, but, that said, is the CW move to reintroduce the Z10 at a lower price the shape of things to come?

Yep, it's been back on their site for a week or so! I wonder if it was an inventory issue, like "let's not list something we don't have to sell" or if they decided to sell it again due to demand.

We'll never know, but it is good it's back!

Is it true sometimes they return them to be updated? Timing works well with being updated to 10.2.
