I am in a parking lot waiting for my Daughter to finish life guard lessons.
Every time I press the track ball to do something this guys car alarm keeps going off.
Anyone ever had this happen? Only with the track ball when I send a message or Browse the web to change something.
I guess I am going to move because it is a PITA to listen too.

OK I am back home on my regular computer. This is the problem I run into when I go to the WAP site.

It takes me to the first page and I log in. Then when I press Discussion or any other link my BB goes back to the regular site with all the colors and headers.

I tried it in Blackberry Emulation and WAP emulation. I have been looking at the site on the regular server and it is a PITA waiting for it to load.
Also when I look for my post or follow the link to it I only see my initial message and it does not show up in my subscriptions.

On my regular computer it shows up. Am I doing something wrong.

I don't think pressing the trackball is sending any signals from your bb. Smells like bs to me sunkist!

...why must you break my heart?

It is entirely possible for this to happen BUT not with a track ball press alone. If the track ball press was used to, say, send an SMS then yes it is possible. the alarm would have to be on the same frequency as the signal from the BB which is unlikely but not impossible.

Have you ever placed you BB next to a CRT monitor or your phone while talking on it and received an SMS or BB message. The phone will get noisy and the CRT will go nuts. This alone implies that the signals from the BB are enough to interfere with some consumer electronics.

    Myth Plausable....

My previous car had an after market alarm in it. Although it wasn't a blackberry, when I would leave my phone in the car, the alarm would go off when a call would come in. I was with AT&T and I believe it had to do with the frequency their service runs on.

I used to roll by this car and the alarm was so sensitive I just had to gun the gas and I would set him off.

You know I had to drive by his house 5X a week at 7AM lol.
