Everytime I run the installer the application loader says
Your Blackberry device is runing the latest available software. But its not. Tmobile is currently running 4.2.2.180.
I got the installer directly from blackberry.com.
Also, the application loader keeps asking me for a password (which there is none)
I am using the latest Desktop Manager Version 4.6.0.12.
Can someone help. Thanks.

yes, just make sure you go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader and delete the vendor.xml file before you go to install.

Yes it will. You just have to delete the vendor.xml file. Follow the instructions in the thread I linked you.

I can co-sign that this works. Just follow the instructions and you will have no problems at all.
In fact I just upgrqded not to long ago.
