My roommate just got a new Bold 9700, so she gave her old BB away. I got Bold 9000, her sisters got BB Curve & BB Pearl.


All 3 used BB by my roommate (Bold9000, curve, pearl) can't add My roommate (new PIN Bold 9700) on messenger & anyone that used to be on her old messenger contact. We tried to add with email & PIN, both does not work.

Tried reinstalling BBM ?
No real reason it should not allow it, unless it believes they are already contacts.

Is it giving an error message?
Is it allowing new PIN's ? try adding 2131b0bb if you want, can delete me straight after

At the risk of stating the obvious, has she tried deregistering the phones from her carrier, otherwise the original PIN/ IMEI is still registered to her even if the handset is unlocked
