    I think I was told that I needed BIS for that and that was when I had just received my BlackBerry. Maybe you need it too? Not sure :\

    You don't think you need BIS for SMS. Sounds like a problem on the carrier end tho.

    It is not a carrier problem. The OP needs BIS for MMS.

    SMS does not use data, but MMS does.
