Long story short. I had a official 10.2.1 OS. I backed it up. I cleaned out my Z10. Installed 10.2.1 official again. Tried to restore backed up file. Now I'm getting "The BlackBerry ID associated with this backup file doesn't match the BlackBerry ID on this device"

I've used the same ID when backed it and I signed into the same one when I installed 10.2.1 again. What do I do from here? Please help. Thank you in advance!

Are you sure you are using the right information? Same thing happened to me. As it turned out I was using the wrong email address.
    Good luck

I'm positive! 110% sure! I actually have back 10 backups and I'm unable to restore any of them. I've tried different IDs and still no success. Really frustrating.

Currently in the process of uninstalling Link and I'm going to install it again. Hopefully that works... *fingers crossed*

The phone has to have the same ID on it as the backup.

Just to be clear, you need to go through the setup on the phone and log into BlackBerryID on the phone prior to trying to restore a backup.

I'm not sure what fixed the problem. But I uninstalled Link, installed it back. Factory reset the Z10 and than tried to restore and it worked. Thanks everyone for the help! I appreciate it! #TeamBlackBerry
