Cannot read media card in media manager!
- I have Curve 8320 with Nokia SD card. I have clicked 30+ photos and can view them on my blackberry device. Now I was transfer them to my desktop. I have desktop manager and the latest version of media manager as well.
When I hook up my blackberry I don't get a prompt for any drive. So I am not able to see my blackberry drive. In my media manager I am seeing the folders for BB 8320 [device memory], but not [media card].
I have tried:
1. Other new media card, but no luck
2. formatting my card and restarting the BB, but no lock
3. I hooked up my brothers BB with the same configuration and I can see the media card of his BB, in my media manager. But when I plug my BB again, it doesn't work.
4. Card is not a problem, because if I use my card in a different BB, I can see the [media card] folder in the media manager.
What else can I try??09-11-08 03:58 AMLike 0 - jeffhRetired ModeratorIf you have Mass Storage Mode on, and the pictures are on your media card, you don't need Media Manager. Exit desktop manager, plug your BlackBerry into the usb port, and double click MyComputer. You should see the Media Card as a drive and be able to drag and drop to your PC.

Media Card Support: On
------------------------------
Total Space: 3.7GB
Free Space: <whatever you have>
If Media Card Support: is not on, then the card will never work
Below the line, with a working card you will always see a Total Space number.
If not, the card/phone combination is not working.
I bet tha you have already read this post but here it is anyway Lecture 6: How to Install a Media Card into your BlackBerry | CrackBerry.com
Finally you make no mention of the Media Card size or the OS version you are running.

* BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.0 Up to 8GB microSDHC

* Verizon 4.2.2.196 OS supports up to 8GB source JeffH - thanks09-11-08 02:29 PMLike 0 - Hi All,
