Does blackberry just release the software and ignore following up or what? Can't they even talk with the carriers about the time frame of testing? I don't even get it.

Well winter does star on the 21st of December. But that doesn't mean that they won't realest it on March 21st

Android and iPhone fan better thank BlackBerry for making their phone better. I prefer subscribers, not followers.

I'm tempted to do the manual "official" update but I'm still skeptical. I just don't understand the reasoning why the US gets it last.

It all depends on the carrier. In the US tmobile will most likely release it first. Once BlackBerry releases an update carriers have to test it first.

If you are impatient you can follow one of the guides here on crackberry that show you how to get the update from other carriers.

The good thing is that you can install a leak if you want too. I know its not an option for everyone but its available.

I'm not American, so I can't vouch for the validity, but I do recall seeing a post earlier this week saying that AT&T had released 10.2.

The leaks are not hard to install at all. Do yourself a favor and head to the leaks section in the BB10 Hub here. 10.2 is a great upgrade and really starts to round out the device.

Those were people on who had unlocked Rogers phones getting pushed the update even though they were on an att sim card. So no they haven't actually released 10.2.

Can't even get the autoloader for my stl 100-3. Plus there's no where concrete step by step on how to install the leaks. The crackberry team just drop the process down with no step by step process. Lazy team I would say. All they know how to do is just block me.

No doubt. I wonder what the hell kinda test they do or better still don't even look at it as blackberry doesn't follow up with making sure it's pushed out

I do hope you are joking as everything you are asking for can be easily found in the Leaked/Beta OS sub-forum, including links to step by step process fro installing a leak. Also the Leak Team has done/does a wonderful job of helping people with problem and answering questions. If you are interested I suggest you give the sub-forum a look and learn how to drastically improve your Z10.

There is a forum dedicated to this. Sounds like you are the one who is too lazy.

Right, agree. AIO is a subsidiary of AT&T. From what I understand it's either their pre-paid line or something like it. Nonetheless, for whatever reason the hardware and software for AIO is slightly different than AT&T's. Thus while I have no explanation "why", several sources confirm AIO has the official 10.2 update as of 3 days ago. Congrats, you are one of the lucky ones!
