I have been doing everything as told by all the forums to upgrade and it's not working. I begining to think something is wrong. I have crackmem and extracted the vendor file and other files I did not need. I selected the upgrade I wanted to use and It would not turn red on the crackmem. even when I did that before extacting. I decided to try and see if it would up date even though it didn't turn red and it did not. I have asked for help all day with this and tried everything I just need some one( a VERY kind soul) to walk me through step by step of what to do while Im doing it. I am trying to use the newest version of software for my phone, and everyone else seems to have gotten it except me.

this is the link I am using

Upgrading your OS is not difficult, but it is not trivial either, as you have found. It will be much easier to do, and you will be much more likely to be successful, if you first get some basic familiarity with your BlackBerry. A good way to do that is to perform the CrackBerry Memory Optimization Procedure that's linked in my sig. Created by Forums Moderator Reed McLay, it will show you how to install your device OS on your PC, (which you have to do to upgrade your OS) and will help you optimize your free memory. It's a terrific tutorial procedure. Once you've done that, and understand what's going on, upgrading your OS will be much easier.

When you're ready, find the following post by bmcclure937: http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/prop...ocedure-53359/.

Follow his procedure, and you if have any problems, people here will be able to help you.
