Have just downloaded 10.1 on my Z10, and going through stuff to see any changes - have noticed an option to sync my emails forever!! That's awesome.

Do you have any subfolders that you've created? If so, do they sort in alphabetical order? Mine don't.

Yes I have created various folders, and they appear in alphabetical order. Maybe delete and set the account up again? Hope it works. Cheers.

I've done so several times. Maybe it's because I'm on the leaked version of 10.1. I'll downgrade to the official when I get the chance.

    Cheers

Go to settings, then Accounts, click on an email account you want to re-sync, then advanced, and scroll to Sync Timeframe and pick forever.

    Cheers.

Can you save a email even if you still erase it on the Hub?

The forever option is only for ActiveSync email accounts, and you must be on OS 10.1, not on any 10.0 versions.

Yes. I am also using forever option in outlook.com. Also I have noticed some Gmail accounts managed by my organisation, got forever option.
Additionally, I noticed emails are synced both ways with outlook desktop. Now I can feel legacy bb device .

No, you can't just delete it -- it'll be gone. The IMAP and ActiveSync email system on BB10 essentially mirrors your email service. For example, if I delete an email received on my Outlook.com account, it goes into the trash folder. However, if I don't want to see it in the Hub, I just file it into a subfolder. (This also requires the setting under Display and Action called "Show Filed Messages" to be toggled off.) Then, as I have the subfolders synced, I can always access it if needed.
