Can I get T9 on my Curve?

Hi, I tried the pearl for about two weeks then switched to the curve-I love the curve and the keyboard, but is there any way to download the T9 function on it (during texting a word is suggested...some people don't like it, but I got used to it!) :) ANy help is appreciated, thanks

I think you mean Predictive Text. T9 is for numeric keypads only. There is no predictive text for QWERTY keyboards, but there is auto-complete built in. You assign shortcuts to specific words and when you type that shortcut the word is filled in for you. If you used the phrase " Thank you for all your hard work," you could assign "TYT" or something so when you typed TYT your Blackberry would automatically change it to "Thank you for all your hard work".

Qwerty keyboards make it a lot easier to type a msg out the using T9, IMO. It just takes some time getting used to if your really used to predictive text.
