first of all sorry if this isn't the correct forum, I didn't find a better one to post this.

I have a friend with a Bold 9900 for his work and needs to run a program that is a jad file (I will provide the link), he wanted to buy a Q10 and tried to download the file with no success, I just got this...



so hi didn't buy the Q10 because he needs the program, and here comes my question, a jad file from legacy device can work on BB10?

I'm sorry but this is just not possible. You will need to find a BB10 version of this program. OR you can find an Android version which MIGHT also work on the Q10.

Sorry, but no, a .jad file can't be converted or run on a BB 10 device. The operating systems are completely different. If the required app isn't available in BB World, have you checked to see if there's an Android version available? Most Android apps can now run well on the latest BB 10 versions.
