It seems the crackberry store only supports us carrier devices, but if unlocked, the GSM versions, they can be used in Canada. But shipping, that's another story.

Your best bet would be to go into the forum of the phone you are looking for, and see if they know of any similar websites that can offer it to you through a Canadian postal service.

This offer requires activation with selected Alltel Wireless, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile or Verizon Wireless service plans. ...
All of the devices offered by CrackBerry are subsidised by one of the participating carriers. The American carriers will not contract with a Canadian subscriber address.

Our Canadian carriers have the same devices and similar conditons. If you buy one at a subsidized price, you will enter into a service contract with the carrier.

The Rogers Bold 9700 is priced at $599 without a contract and $249 with a 3 year service contract.

AT&T Bold 9700 is priced at $439.99 if you are an existing subscriber, or $49.99 with a 3 year contract.

    i dont want a contract.
i just want to buy it for the no-contract cost $440.00 offered on the site.
why should i pay $600 canadian when i can instead pay $475 canadian[$440USD]

There always has been a disparity in the pricing of consumer goods in Canada and the USA. There is another factor in play, GST and Customs taxes on imported cell phones will add about 20% when you cross the boarder. That $475(CDN) phone will cost over $550(CDN) to land in Canada, without a warranty.

Out of curiosity, I checked eBay to see what the 9700 is doing. Buy it now for $600 - $700, and auctions closing at $550.
