I'm just wondering if BB10 is gonna be secured enough where we won't be able to hack/jailbreak apps for free just like the iPhone users and such. If so, then I prefer it shouldn't if RIM would want to make a success. I'm willing to pay my money, in fact my money is all on the BB10 including its apps. I don't care how much an app costs, just gimme my damn BB10, the apps I want whether free or paid, and let me live.

my guess is it will most certainly be locked so that jailbreaking or rooting will be next to impossible

Where are you leading with this thread?

Whether the BB can be hacked or not, it has no link to launching the BB10 and 'giving you your damn BB10'. I'm sorry but I think this is just a waste of bandwidth and storage space on the CB Forum server.

Haha, my guess is that *Bane Voice*, "It would be extremely painful" xD

It might be possible though but difficult perhaps.

By that logic, your post is even more useless. It's a public forum.

OP: I'm sure that like Matt said, things will be locked down pretty tight. Some folks will undoubtedly attempt to root the devices, but I'd imagine RIM will patch things up quickly if an exploit is found. Jail breaking iOS isn't easy, there's just a pile of people working on it, submitting error logs and looking for exploitable bugs.

WHO CARES?? if you want a device to muck about with....buy an android. Blackberry is all about security. I refer you to the CIO interview with Robin Bienfait
