I have the blackberry curve and even when my profile sound is set to off it still makes the picture taking sound whenever I take a picture. Is there anyway to change this??

It will always make a sound unless you know of a app for this. (Public privacy issues)

You can disable it on GSM with an app but not CDMA. What I do if I need to take a picture and don't want the shutter sound, I call my voicemail, open the camera app and then take the picture. The sound will still go off but it will come out less noticeable.
